MetaTrak S5 VTS
The Meta Trak S5-VTS, S5 Deadlock & S5 Deadlock Pro meets the new insurance criteria, Thatcham approved standard for vehicle tracking systems. A small Driver ID tag is attached to the keyring and is used to automatically disarm the system. If the vehicle moves without the tag present, with an unauthorised or cloned key an alert is sent to the control centre which will contact you to make sure your vehicle is safe.
An approved Meta Trak installer
Dav-Tec is a Meta Trak approved installer. That matters for insurance: insurers who specify an S5 system generally require it to be fitted by an approved installer, and a certificate from one is what they ask to see. It also means the system is installed to Meta Trak’s own standard and registered correctly with the control centre first time.
Fitted at our Chesterfield workshop
We install MetaTrak S5 systems in-house on T5, T5.1, T6, T6.1 and T7 Transporters. Fitting is concealed, wiring is done to factory routing, and the system is tested and registered with the control centre before you collect the van.
Which system do I need?
S5-VTS — tracking and Driver ID tag. The baseline most insurers ask for.
S5 Deadlock — adds immobilisation after the engine is switched off, controlled from the app, including a Lockdown command that keeps the van immobilised even with the tag present.
S5 Deadlock Pro — adds OBD port immobilisation, which is the route most commonly used to steal these vans.
If your insurer has specified a particular category, send us the requirement with your registration and we will confirm which system meets it before you book.
What the price includes
Prices shown cover the unit, professional fitting at our Chesterfield workshop, and the first year’s subscription. The subscription renews directly with MetaTrak after year one.
